  6.      mchange.tos - change the number of available Fnordadel
  7.      mailslots.

  9. SYNOPSIS
  10.      mchange <newsize>

  12. DESCRIPTION
  13.      Mchange will increase or decrease the number of mail mes-
  14.      sages available to all users (including the Sysop).  Give it
  15.      the desired new size on the command line, and mchange will
  16.      munge away, resizing things as required.  When finished it
  17.      will remind you to change ctdlcnfg.sys accordingly and run
  18.      configur.tos.  If you don't, your system will suffer a ter-
  19.      rifying end at the hands of the Ruggieman.

  21.      Mchange expects to be run from the directory containing your
  22.      ctdltabl.sys file.

  24. OPTIONS
  25.      <newsize>
  26.           The desired new number of mailslots.  There can be no
  27.           less than 1 and no more than 999.
  28.  
  29. NOTES
  30.      If the number of mailslots is being decreased, mchange will
  31.      gleefully expunge any user's N oldest messages, where N is
  32.      the number of slots being removed.  Nothing else can be
  33.      done.  As the Sysop, you should archive any messages you
  34.      can't bear to be parted with.  It would be a nice gesture to
  35.      notify your users as well.  Perhaps in Mail>...?

  37.      Please PLEASE **PLEASE** make a backup of your system before
  38.      running this program.  It's not that we expect it to blow
  39.      up, it's just that Murphy is everywhere.
